Tube materials include stainless steel, carbon steel, brass and cupronickel, with Monel for special conditions. Engineered units can also use copper alloys such as Admiralty, Naval Brass and Aluminium Brass, as well as titanium, duplex and superduplex stainless steel and AISI 904.
Tubes are available smooth or fully finned, which reduces the size of the exchanger and the cooling water needed.
Flovex manufacturing is certified to ISO 9001, holds the ASME U stamp with National Board registration, and is assessed under Module H of the EU Pressure Equipment Directive (2014/68/EU).
Engineered exchangers are designed and built to TEMA, and Flovex works with third-party inspection bodies including Bureau Veritas, DNV, TUV, Lloyd's Register and Intertek.

Typical duties include lube and hydraulic oil cooling, gas cooling, condensing and safety cooling on process and rotating equipment.
